The youngest of four brothers, Douglas Kennedy was the last child of Alexei Valashnikov, and his wife Tanya, and the first one born outside of the Soviet Union after they were granted asylum in the U.S in 1983.
Unlike his brothers, Mav (as he is known) is very independent, quiet, and a dedicated cameraman with Rob J. Barion (fursona), the duo have done critical success in the broadcasting industry, still using old analog and early digital equipment.
this picture would be Mav at work in a park, filming something for a documentary, caught on Rob's camera, a Ikegami Hl-95b.
The green streak in the picture is the end result of the camera imaging technology, video camera tubes, which leave distinctive "comet tails" when a bright shot is seen on camera, the other camera's light overexposing the pick up tubes, in this case, mainly the green tube, instead of the red and blue ones.
