He's the founder of the D.C.W. ( Dead Clade Walkers ), an underground organization challenging the status quo on how "Drifter" species are integrated into Elladion society. Only a select few members of this group are aware of his true nature.

He was taken in by a Sycan academic named Hachi in Livewire, of whom his "photon disguise" (hologram) was influenced by. He tends to think of himself as a "son" to Hachi, having been warped to Elladion at a young age. Ika's only souvenir from earth ("Terra") is an old dogtag with his country's name etched on it.

He is currently searching for his professor's whereabouts and investigating other sketchy happenings in the Sanctuary of Livewire.
