A few days ago, I was inspired to try a small side project featuring Haizea Gacería, the proprietor of The Ash and Hazel Tavern, a gathering point for the many of the heroes of Kroashent. The concept, originally determined by a poll on the Kroashent Discord page, was to draw her as one of the diminutive Korrigan, the Faerie peoples of Letha, inspired by Breton legend. Out of the initial four options, the poll came down to a tie between the pixie like Kornikaned and the satyr-like Teuz. Since it was evenly matched, I decided to draw both! The Teuz, the Korrigan of the meadows, are an agrarian people with goatlike features, one of the most common Korrigan types in Alvez, and the most culturally integrated with Bediz (human) culture and society.
If you want to see more drawings of Haizea as different Korrigan, let me know in the comments!

You can learn more about the Teuz here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41744640/ The Teuz of Alvez are quite different from the satyrs of Greek mythology, with a cultural focus on agrarian communities and agriculture, rather than wine and dance.
Canonically, the Teuz are the only Korrigan peoples existing fully within the larger feudal system, existing as both serfs and freemen. As such, their lands are taxed and they owe obligations to their Sovereign, but can also avail themselves of the feudal protections and obligations owed to them. Teuz farms make up a large portion of the income of many sovereignties.
Some other Korrigan peoples can be part of the system, but only the Teuz are universally so. For example, the goblin-like Kriores are considered vassals of a foreign prince, swearing to their own internal nobility, rather than the lord of the region they actually live in. Kriores mines are taxed, but essentially as foreign enterprises working in a given region, while Teuz holdings pay direct income as vassals to a local lord.

Based on their position in society and their numbers in many areas, they do make up a sizeable part of levies, but they're not very highly valued as soldiers. They are smaller than the average human and don't tend to organize well generally. They're useful for defensive purposes, but don't tend to be very useful in offensive campaigns, so they're often used for logistical support rather than open combat.
The majority of warfare in Alvez is fought by mercenary companies and the proportions of highly decorated or veteran Teuz is smaller than many other peoples in these organizations. Its not unheard of for a teuz to become a soldier, but its rare.

i see more of a supply line guards then front line use for attacks. very fanatical for defense use. fair enough there.
wonder how many mercenary companies operate out there in such a limited market as that you should do a section or two on the mercenary companies epsecally ones that came from deep inland or even from other land mass's with there origins not necessary there manpower base for recruitment.
maybe you could draw or have a peace sometime down the line showing the rare expeption of said teuz to be said mercenary or two and do very well.

There's actually quite a flourishing market for Mercenary work. In fact, large parts of the 100 Years War and other major Medieval/Renaissance battles were fought by mercenary companies. They were often paid by the spoils of their sieges, and when not needed, often became bandits called "Free Companies", supplementing their income with self-driven campaigns.
In Alvez, these mercenary companies are very active, often hired out by wealthy nobles or merchant cities for smaller engagements. I'm sure I'll give them a proper introduction sooner or later.
