Most of it is done freehand. The background is unimportant, Zafta is the focal point in this picture. The black tracksuit makes her blend in nicely with the crowd in Bosnia.
I am doing my last hoorahs with traditional means, before my CIntiq tablet arrives next week. I am sure digital art will be harder, considering that layers are a thing. But the results will justify the time invested. No more limitation by canvas size and color. And the precious UNDO button. No more botched pictures by inking screwups.
I must say, I had fun drawing this one.
