Asher: Snake Of The Year Edition

13.5 inch tall polymer clay sculpture of my sona Asher.
Asher likes having limbs. We live in a society, ahem, where it's pretty much a requirement to have them. He got this fancy bit of tech as soon as it came out and he now thinks of it as his body for almost all intents and purposes. It clicks into a little implant in his neck and he can move it around and feel with it like it's the real thing.
It's got a heating element so he doesn't freeze to death (being cold-blooded and all) and as an added benefit it means he's warm to the touch, which he's very happy about.
This sure took a while to make but I'm glad I finished it. I had this character gimmick idea floating around in my head since last November but I had next to no art skills to make him at the time! His colouration is vaguely based on a worm snake, which if Asher was a real one this would be a 1:1 scale model (they're small and adorable) but no, I'm imagining him as being fairly tall like this. I pretty much just made the actual design up as I went along, I have no character design experience at all. I made 1 single sketch in ms paint of this last year just so I wouldn't forget the idea and it is BAD, like oh lordy I cannot draw; If you look at it you'll see why I mainly stick to sculpture (https://i.imgur.com/ERJ7wgN.png).
