A tapping on his shoulder woke him up slowly. The warm September day made the pool that much more enjoyable; and after having spent the morning working and lunch horseplaying in the pool, Sparky had happily and without even realizing it passed out for a nap as his wife lounged out on top of him.

"Have a nice nap?"

"I wasn't napping..."

"You were snoring."

He rolled his eyes and swatted at her butt with his tail, "How long was I out?"

"Leave my butt alone... And a couple hours. I think it's time we head back in."

"What? Why? It's so nice out." He flicked his tail back down and bopped it off her purple clad butt again.

This time she grabbed ahold of it. And as he tried to tug it away, she dug her fingers in tight. "I said stop it... and since you want to stay out here so bad I think I can accommodate you." She let her claws slide out before continuing, "I could just sink you and get out of the pool while you nap all deflated." She started chuckling as the idea gained some momentum in her head. "I'll patch you up in a week or two, after I get the house smelling like pumpkin and cinnamon."

His eyes stretched out and ears laid back while her claws creaked into his tail and shoulder.




I was expecting to be out of contact earlier this month, possibly for a long while; and so, ordered this a little early. So, some of you may have seen  Foxena post this already. I was very surprised to see that because what she works on and what she posts outside of her comics are a tiny little snippet. But hey, I'm not complaining, and if you haven't already, you should go show her post some love too. Anyway, I wanted to throw my wife,  wilderwilder, into my end of summer piece and show off a bit of her enjoyment of a few of my toys that get put away for the cooler months as summer winds down.
