Many planets around the Araltian worlds have been terraformed into garden worlds, which give a lovely place to relax and visit when flying through space. Here’s Eleve, Erika’s classmate hanging out by a giant world-tree that dominates one of them.
One interesting feature of the Araltians scale, is that wood is actually a much rarer resource than metals which are very much commonplace to them. As such trees are well looked after and very rarely used for furniture and buildings. And it’s also why they’re grown off-word on planets such as this.
As for Eleve she just likes getting away from the noise of the homeworld to somewhere a little quieter.

Oh for certain. Araltians are a lot more adept at breathing in places with low or completely anaerobically in space for periods of time, but oxygen and trees and such are still very important to them!
To Erika, walking on a planet she honestly just doesn't even notice there's non-araltian sized trees there. It'd be like trying not to step on microbes.
