The Cursed Forest
By:Mia
On a fairly dark and stormy night two siblings were sitting in a cozy little cottage at the edge of their village visiting with their grandfather. The old wrinkled man sat in his comfortable chair recalling to the kids his many exploits and the dangers he had learned about in his travels through the lands. This particular tale was about the forests surrounding their quaint village home.
“It was a dark and stormy night much like this one…” spoke the old man, getting lost in his tales.
Putting his hands gently on his forehead and rubbing it the younger man had heard about enough of these crazy stories. He knew of the monsters plaguing the land but he had lived in the village all of his life. His father had taken him hunting in those same woods and he had seen neither hide nor hair of any monsters. Taking his sister's hand he gently pulled her towards the door and away from the old codger and his blathering of stories and tall tales.
"Let's go Anna, we're already gonna be late getting home. We've gotta head home now Grandpa, we promise to come back and visit real soon."
Taking up their satchels and pulling his sister out the door the two started down the path towards home, not before Anna freed herself and laid into her brother but good. The young mage folded her arms as she made a rude face at her brother.
"You know Jack, if I could've stopped you I would. That was really rude just to walk out on Gramps like that! I mean, all he wanted was a little company so we could've at least listened to his last story.."
Scoffing a bit Jack looked down the winding path to the village. Taking a moment to get a lay of the land he started tugging Anna off the path. As she planted her feet firmly in the ground she sent a tiny spark of electricity through to his hand as he jerked away.
"Come on Anna, it's a shortcut! Geez you didn't have to shock me! Y’know if you're gonna be like that then fine! Take the long path, I'll see you at home!"
Feeling a bit angry at his sister's use of magic, Jack turned to the woods running headlong into them. He didn't need her anyway; how DARE she shock him! He was going to have a nice long chat when he got home to his father about her little outburst.
That is.. if he could find his way home. Looking around Jack quickly realized he had gone a bit farther into the woods then he had planned. Taking a few tentative steps he soon found his face bombarded with sticky spider webs. Coughing a bit and trying to swat them off he didn't notice the rock jutting from the ground, nor did he notice the slope into the mist as he fell rolling down the hill, knocking his head on a thick tree trunk which knocked him out cold.
Warmth. That was the first sensation Jack felt as he stirred. Opening his eyes he squinted a bit at the gentle flickering light of a fire. As his eyes adjusted to the room he was in he looked around the rocky dank walls were covered in some kind of liquid or film.
He seemed to be wrapped in some kind of blanket. Looking down he saw that he was totally encased in some sort of thick white material. Hearing a noise he looked up towards an entrance to the room gasping as he saw a gigantic figure.
Standing a full head above him a gigantic spider came into the room smiling as she saw her newest bundle. Opening her mouth she flashed some fangs making Jack wiggle in his webbing cocoon. As she neared him he closed his eyes knowing that this was it, he was done for.
That is until he felt himself lifted and bounced in her arms. Looking confused he was, again, shocked when he heard the gigantic spider actually speak to him.
"My goodness how is your head little one? I couldn't believe they let such a little human out on his own when you can't even walk. Well don't worry sweetie, I'll take good care of you."
As he was unwrapped from the webbing he looked down, noticing a chill recoiling in the monster's arms; his clothes had disappeared. What replaced them were thick booties made of the same webbing as well as a thick webbing diaper wrapped around his waist forcing his legs apart.
Looking up at the smiling face of his captor, Jack tried to jump out of her lap only to be caught by one of her many arms. Holding him close the maternal monster bounced him a bit more holding a bottle of milk to his lips, forcing it in before speaking once again.
"Now don't you worry you little troublemaker. We are gonna make absolutely sure you are raised right. You'll be brought up with the best manners and always be respectful."
Drinking the thick milk down Jack blushed as this insane beast held and cooed at him. Once he was sucking air he felt himself positioned above her shoulder, his back being pat by her many hands. Despite his best efforts to stop it a belch escaped his lips as he blushed even more, speaking out towards her.
"What the hell you damned monster! Let me go this instant, I'm not a baby!"
Seeing her eight red eyes flash before him, a stern look came over her face. As she picked him up off her shoulder he gazed upon a rather upset looking monster, the chilled air passing by his loins as his diaper was removed. Sighing in relief he was glad this monster was at least sensible enough to realize he wasn't a baby.
Smack!!
Held by two of the spider’s arms, the other four made quick work of tanning his backside and leaving in a bright shade of red. Sniffling and crying at this point he was laid across the monster's lap once more, a new webbing diaper being pulled on and secured around his hips.
As the beast gently ran her hands through his hair, she looked down at her crying charge while gently rocking him in her arms. She had to fix this one; even if it took the rest of his life, she would make sure he was raised right. Good table etiquette when she gave him solid foods, always being respectful and of course, learning to respect his elders properly.
