Kinokurages was the 7th Kaiju in the Fireman Roster, appearing as the Monster of the Week in Ep.7 of the series – the Dreadful Space Bacteria.

_Bios and Abilities_
Kinokurages was a type of space mycelium (or Fungal Bacteria) that came from a Giacobini meteorite; after been awaken and harming people, including the death of the two scientists studying it, Kinokurages began to go on a rampage to search for sources of Petroleum. These would be stored on bags on the top side of its body, which likely serve as gas bags for levitation.

Besides its tentacles, Kinokurages had an energy beam that was fired from its head, as well has a proboscis through which would consume petroleum based products. Been a Fungal Bacteria, it could infect humans.

_History_
When a Space Probe returns to Earth, it carried an unknown Bacteria it collected from the Giacobini Meteor Shower in the Jacov Galaxy. SAF hires to Biologist from the Space Center – Prof. Komia and Matsumbito Yoko – to begin the study of the discovery. During their studies, Matsumbito let's a sample drop, the bacteria propagates and forms, proceeding to attack the Boiler Room Keeper. Afterwards, SAF determines to destroy the forming Fungaie and the remaining Samples.

However, Komia learns from Matsumbito she held to one sample which had already form and learns the creature feeds on Petroleum; as Komia walks away, the Kinokurages escapes and kills Prof. Matsumbito. Afraid that SAF would destroy the only surviving specimen, Prof. Komia takes the creatures away, but gets into a Car Accident, dying and the Kinokurages escapes. Later, the beast, now Gigantic, feeds on an Oil Refinery and later an Oil Tanker, destroying them when done. SAF and the JSDAF try to stop it, but the monsters shuts the Marigon Down. Misaki knocks Chiba and parachutes him to safety, but the Aircraft crashes into the Ocean, however Misaki transforms into Fireman and battles the Beast.

Fireman beats and tosses the Kinokurages around, but the monster takes the advantage and smothers the hero. The Marine fires a missile with a polyodonake chemical substance, which hits the monsters causing to spring a leak; Kinokurages tries to escape, but Fireman blast it away with Fireflash, putting an end to the Beast. Afterwards, Fireman reverts back to Misaki and he reunites with the rest of SAF.
