Lucky Star is a young pony who recently begged and annoyed his way into an apprenticeship. He’s a plucky and determined kiddo, wanting to learn magic in order to wow people enough to make friends! Though as they interact with their teacher, they realize that there is more to life than friendship and fun. They learn that true kindness comes from expecting nothing back, and that using magic to make friends is probably a bad idea. Those he would have gotten to be friends with would have only liked them for their talents, which isn’t a friend.
