Chain Reaction is an old curmudgeonly unicorn who has worked all his life to bring magic to those without it using technology and science. His grumpiness has earned him a spot in kid gossip, with children daring each other to ring his doorbell and ditch. Whenever he is doing experiments a lightning cloud appears above his house, lending even more to the spooky rumors about him. However recently a young lost pony found their way to his doorstep, to ask to be an apprentice to him. After the kiddo’s determination and repeated inquiries, Chain Reaction let the kid study under him. Now this tired grumpy old man finds himself warming up to people again, though it’s still not enough to make people like hanging around him yet.
