During last year's IndyFurcon, I spotted this incredibly beautiful statue of Leonard De Vinci while walking a couple of friends back to their hotel. I couldn't get it out of my mind for all of that time & was excited to come by on Friday evening when I had free time. Leonard De Vinci is 1 of my art heroes & a major inspiration. Whomever created this sculpture really cared. It's an incredible piece that I feel captures Leonardo well. I took my time admiring this. I noticed that every part has great care put into it. I took a few shots of his feet, hands & face.
The Delta Hotels Indianapolis East retained it traditional Italian theme after the current owners bought it from an Italian family. The night hostess & bartender told me they decided on this because it would be a lot of trouble to remove the elegant water fountain with statues they're known for.
