Description:
Maria hailed from a small Filipino-Japanese family, used to enjoy a humble living in Sapporo until things went out of hand with the Yakuza infighting, causing serious collateral damage and forcing Maria, her older brother Dalisay and her young sister Sakura to flee to Manila. Their relative working in the Yakuza worked from time to time to help them while the defecting Hokkaido-based gang was hunting them down. During the Yakuza attack in Quezon City, Maria crossed paths with a young and brown fox named Timothy Soro, who barged in to save her. She in return gave him a kiss into his lips. Unbeknownst to her or any in her family, the Oyabun (Head of the Yakuza) tipped some secret organization (named ASPID) that his Hokkaido-based members went rogue and after the Meiyo family. To simply put, Timothy was merely sent to save her, but because of how competently ruthless he was in killing her perpetrators, she believed to have met her match. During such events, she and Dalisay became effective yet ruthless fighters in their fields: Dalisay being well precise with firearms yet with an ill-prepared response to an enemy's close melee surprise with a metal baseball bat, and Maria being quick in eliminating an enemy threat with sharp projectiles and swords but with a risky tendency of focusing too much to the point of being caught off-guard. Sakura on the other hand remained vulnerable, naive yet optimistic on what was in store in her and her siblings.

Once things were settled, persuaded by their relative, Maria and her siblings moved out to California, specifically in the city of Santo Tomas, where they would live a low-rent apartment, but Dalisay would start working as an improving businessman and Maria, a barista in an ethically professional cafe. Eventually, Maria and Timothy would meet each other again and fell in love. Dalisay, once a stress freak, took a word from Maria's recent development and was filled with a gentle ease and warmth, and was more than happy to invite the brown fox in their home on occasion.

Nothing much changed in the matter of few years since then, but both Maria and Dalisay had developed their positive look into their future. However in early 2020, Maria was informed by Timothy that he wouldn't remain in Santo Tomas until the end of the year due to urgent circumstances. By urgent, he honestly meant the early developments of the MALAKAS Project, where he was asked to take part in experiments before having it officiated to the public. It was such a surprise to neither Maria nor Dalisay, as he outright expressed his desire to become a bodybuilder one day, but engaging in a chemical-based muscle growth performed by a secret project left the former two suspicious. Thankfully, they were such patient people, even after having watched the TV commercial promoting the MALAKAS Project and involving Timothy, they'd rather wait until he would arrive in the given limit, so that they could get his side of the story as well.

By January 2021, Timothy had returned to Santo Tomas, but as a Super Soldier, which surprised Maria the most. Once in the Meiyo's apartment, Timothy explained almost everything about his experience in the mountain base under the MALAKAS Project, this piqued the family's interest, but Dalisay was more concerned about Sakura as she was still defenseless to handle situations on her own, while Maria had already grown old enough to become independent. Persuaded by Sakura, Maria decided to take a try on the MALAKAS Project, just a week after Rosemary Soro signed up for that project.

Maria's experience was pretty much similar to that of Timothy's sister, besides under the unnamed instructor's watchful eye. but gave the mountain base a different impact. While she rejected Christopher North's offer to be an instructor for a year, she helped a millenial set up a coffeehouse and served dozens of customers a week until the end of her stay. Action wise, she heavily relied on a katana she brought along, as well as other Samurai swords and blades (such as kaiken, tanto, another katana, odachi, and the Giant Volcanic Sword). Swift and agile, she danced with curved blades and dodges. Often calm and serious, she could take joy in fighting others as well, and her aggression to the next level, should she wish to. Unlike other recruits who used Samurai blades to modify their weapons, she never bastardized her own swords, with the only exception being the Giant Volcanic Sword, not that she knew it was a large obsidian sword that was supposed to resemble the Buster sword instead of a katana molded by mistake. Additionally, she had somehow become a target of Dakota Cranberry's gang just simply because she was Timothy's girlfriend and they were in a need to vent their grievances at him somehow without receiving backlash, but given her past about gangs, she immediately took a deathly dislike at the Cranberry gang in return.

Nevertheless, Maria was honorably discharged as a Super Soldier with a knack to temporarily become a Juggernaut, yet she remained beautiful and seductive despite masculine changes in her body. Not only did she gain attention from Timothy's friends, but also her own siblings and her cafe co-workers, in more of an arousal rather than attention. Although her boss wouldn't care about physical changes, she was concerned on how Maria would react to intense situations involving serious tension. Even after Maria's arrival, Dalisay prefered keeping himself unchanged, as long as Sakura was neither threatened nor dragged into another deadly situation.
