Gloop! ^.^
This is the fourth pic in my series based on the first part of Episode 7 of the game show Industrial Zone, with Quinne stuck in the Mixer.
Quinne finally gets what was coming to her, getting completely glooped with multicoloured gunge while she's up to her neck in pie cream. I love how
Iron-K wrote this scene. He dragged Quinne's gunging out for the longest time, forcing her to squirm while the tank slowly filled with pie foam and then suddenly he hit her with a huge column of multicolored gunge. If I'd thought about it more I would have combined the two streams of slime into a single thick column, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out.
I wanted to do something a bit different for this pic so I actually drew Quinne from scratch again, not that you can really tell. It's pretty hard to see her underneath all that goo, but she's actually looking up into the slime. She might have been caught off guard, or possibly she doesn't actually mind it that much. XD Either way, it's going to take her a very long time to get clean. XP

YES! Spectacular :) I love the NHP-style gloopy texture that you have on the gunge and can practically see the thick movement of it sliding down her head. The pose is also great, with her hands placed nervously near her face.
I had been sort of undecided as to the exact details of the delivery mechanism myself - I think I described it as two semi-separate nozzles that were set up to mingle the stuff together as it fell, exactly like what's happening here. So, as if you couldn't tell, I'm loving this series - it's definitely my favorite from you ever, and a very nice... reward for my writing :)

I was definitely prepared to misinterpret or just get things wrong when it came to drawing these pics but as long as you're happy, I'm happy.
I chose the bits of Quinne's gunging carefully but it was always going to be hard to pick my favorite bits of it because there were so many little quirky bits that I liked reading about, and I just wish I could have had the skill to animate it. It was actually quite fun to experiment with ways that I could make the gunge look very thick and gloopy.
I'll have to see what else I can draw. I seem to remember someone getting a gunge bath at some point.

I honestly have to say - trying to not make this sound like flattery or anything else that might be taken insincerely - that you put yourself down more than any other artist that I know! You keep on putting... little disclaimers in about how you were unsure about how something looked or how well it turned out (not just in these, in the messages we had back and forth about Quinne's participation in the show in the first place, or things you've said about your own artwork on the Yahoo group). Don't be afraid to have more confidence, because I promise... you've got a lot of talent, and I really enjoy your pictures - and your character, who I felt enough of a connection with to be able to write into a full episode of IZ!
And with that said, I'm looking forward to the completion of this series - and to anything else that you might choose to draw from the show ;)

It's something I've had to deal with in real life as well. I've always thought that anything I do will turn out being not that good, because it was me who was doing it. On the one hand it's partly a good thing, because I'm fairly sure if I had more confidence generally I wouldn't spend that much time online. When my friends pick up on it I just say I never want to be in a situation where I'm claiming to be better than I am (again I feel like this in real life too so I'm always terrible in things like job interviews).
One of the reasons why I love Quinne so much is that she's the complete opposite of me, and isn't afraid to be that confident. I guess I hope that one day I'll be as confident as her . . . it's just one of those things that I need to work on.

I suppose it is preferable to risking coming across as arrogant or boastful - but you've got a lot of room before you're in danger of that ;) And yes, our characters can be a great escape from ourselves... in a similar way, you could say that Alex was written as a more... smooth, confident substitute for my own presence in my stories.
