I joined both online communities in about 2002, and was amazed at the number of people who were like me one way or the other. After reading a lot of WAM fiction that was sometimes all right but not quite what I was looking for, I decided to take things into my own hands, typing up some scenes from my head into a story. Years later, I'm the writer of Industrial Zone and a whole network of other mess-themed stories.
