I was gonna go into more detail, but genuinely could find the right words for what I was trying to express, but you made the entire situation, with all the emotions and feelings, feel extremely real.
Bonus Note: I had the idea for Thorn's real name to be Alice, with some lore about changelings keeping their real names secret, but there wasn't anywhere to fit it in naturally.
