"Yup!" the demon Fimishec said.

"Wow! I can't think of any way that could possibly go wrong! Get out of my room."

"Okay, I know it's a hard sell, but dark magic is the best thing ever! It can't be detected or blocked by normal human magic, so you can get away with casting all sorts of powerful spells! You could teleport jewels out from museums, create perfect illusions to disguise yourself or become beautiful, or even egg someone's house from 10 miles away! Fame, fortune, perfect grades, what more could you ask for?"

"How about free will?"

Fimi sighed. "I told you, I'm not gonna control you. I tried that before, and that's how I ended up trapped in that crystal ball."

"I'm not interested. I'm literally at a magic school, I'll learn plenty of spells with a 0% chance of getting my body stolen. Now get out, and take your temptation with you."

"Right. This school. I'm sure you're perfectly satisfied with this school's teaching so far. I mean, you've already learned so much in your first few years. I'm sure they'll be happy to teach you everything you want to know, and definitely won't keep any secrets from you. Alright, I'll stop bothering you, there's no way I could teach you anything you couldn't find at the school library. The non-forbidden section, that is."
