Since this is my first time doing a pic in SAI, I thought I'll upload WIPs as I work on it.
No Deathwing in this pic, this is just the background. I'll get working on Deathwing next time, as well as add some more elements to the background like smoke and such.

Just because the Horde have a good battle cry and the Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftains are made up of Horde characters does not make Blizzard prefer them over the Alliance. Blizzard strives for an even ground for both factions and the recent changes to the old world do not bring any faction imbalance, nor will they have any when Cataclysm is released.
There are more horde players. And more horde "heros" than "haters" in wc3. I admit, alliance shines through most in the books, but horde characters in wc3 and WoW seem cooler, "good"-er and the battle cry is a big plus.
I mean, look at the key wc3 alliance side characters:
1. Arthas (aka Worlds Worst Paladin)
2. Skygazer (aka "I released Illidan, seemed like a good idea at the time")
3. That Human Paladin (aka "So what if I make Kel-Thas join Illidan in Outland? He's not human!")
*sigh* At least we got Stormsrage to stop Archimonde.

We where talking about the Alliance/Horde ratio in Blizzard, not it's player base. Anyway, a quick Google search for WoW statistics came up with http://www.warcraftrealms.com/census.php which shows the Alliance and Horde populations on the realms. It shows that Alliance characters outnumbers the Horde by a couple of hundred thousand on both the EU and US realms.
