Heading to the exit back past the Asiatic Lions, Sahee and Sonika are not being distracted from the important napping task. With a limited wild range and population of less than 1,000 we sure hope these guys don't forget other things we need them to do!

Or some of us are going to have to figure out how to fix liger infertility!

Actually this wasn't the last photo I took, but got a bad reflection on the glass for that view.
Brisotl Zoo is known for it;s long-term efforts in conservation and captive of Western lowland Gorilla, but I am not a particular gorilla fan, so I don't think I have ever hung around long enough to get good photos of them. I also failed to get photos of the monkeys, as usual they didn't co-operate with looking the right way at the right time!

Bristol Zoo, Clifton last visit. 5 August 2022. Zoo closure date 3 September 2022, after 186 years and so very many firsts.
A new Bristol Zoo is due to open in 2024 at the Wild Place site. The zoo will go on, but it still feel odd to know I will never visit the Clifton Zoo again.
