I love how actually drew different frames with different sizes and shading instead of just using puppet animation! Really good posing and anatomy. I also love your use of black for shading, nicely adhering to palette limitations. Did you base this sprite on any specific console limitations?
I stuck with the Shovel Knight NES Palette, which is modified from the NES's color limitations. I blocked out my animation by selecting, moving, and rotating body parts in Aseprite, then fixing the shifting pixels.
