A human-feline species. The body is mostly human, although the head has a bit of a muzzle instead of full human face. The nose and cheek lines mark the boundaries on the head of the cat pelt, which covers the eyes and goes up to the feline ears. There is more pelt at the back of the head and it runs down the neck and back to the about the belly/waist where it appears again in full down the tail and to the feet/paws. The arms from below the elbow have pelt as well and the hands are smaller than humans with pudgier fingers and sharper/ harder nails making them more claw-like.

Catuan is an original species I've had for a bit. The feline universe I've had for my personal literary series etc begins with the Maun, who are human and feline and follow a similar being called "Deity". Deity breaks into God and Goddess, God of human and Goddess of cat.

Generations long after the history is very much forgotten...
science is able to recreate what used to be without meaning to or even intending to do it.
The Catuan struggle is to worry that they are not human enough for anything the humans believe/support without knowing they are the species coming back to where it began!

There are multiple breeds used in figuring how Tiger Feather should look as feline/ catuan. I am drawing from breeds from the lands of my recent ancestors, which is predominantly western/northern Europe.
