Deandra Newton is Mags's only friend that goes to the Order of Beatrix-Orchies Knights' College on Traverse. She has a punching arm as big as her appetite, a biomechanical parasite gauntlet named Synthia. Her right arm is also a prosthetic but it's far more subtle, as are its weapon modifications.

She has her own bathroom on campus and in Traverse proper for the safety of the general public.
