You don't have to play
You can follow or lead the way
Oh won't you join together with the band
--Join Together, written by Peter Townsend, performed by The Who
You hear those twangy quarter notes before any other instrument on the record and you know instantly that you are listening to Join Together by The Who. The song was released as a non-album single in 1972. Fans of The Who would have to wait until the release of the 1981 compilation album, “Hooligans”, before they could own a copy of Join Together on LP.
I owned a couple of jaw harps (sometimes called a Jews harp) back when I was high school. Those are long gone, but I thought it would be fun to have one again. When I found this one from Oberton Pro with the bear-themed case, it seemed as if Fate smiled upon me.

Haha I was right : when I saw your title for this I immediately thought of the "Hooligans" album. Nice tribute to a cool song by a great band.
Jaw harps are fun; "twangdwangbwingboingboing" ... crazy sounds they can make! I used to have one too, and now I suddenly want one again. ;)
And, that case is a work of art in itself. I see that you can wear it too. Very nice! ^_^

"Join Together", along with "Going Mobile" and a couple other tunes, were part of another "Tommy"-like rock opera that, sadly, never really got completed.
