"Afterlife".

Emily Wildstyle already suffered from atavism syndrome, she forgot things and sometimes got confused in conversation. But after her husband passing away, the woman noticeably deteriorated and lost touch with reality.
Children and even grandchildren fed, looked after, and brushing their always dozing, gray-haired beloved grandmother.
Emily stared at one point for whole days, wandered aimlessly around the house, and sometimes scared those around her to death by cheerfully and productively talking to her wife and her passed away husband ...while sitting alone in the room.
Emily passed away quietly and inconspicuously, as she had lived - falling asleep, curled up, falling asleep - and never waking up again, her children found her like this next morning. The woman outlived her husband by only almost one year.

Please note that my story is in the process of being written, and most of these small fragments that I published are not in chronological order.
(Chronology always was a real pain for me.) So when I finish my plans I will try to put everything in order. If I can...
