"For I am his bulwark, his executioner, the consort of the gods. With his cross and divine blessings, I will know no fear on the battlefield. For I am the Mute God's chosen prophet of every kobold of this legion. Forged by years of battle, I am an Alpha who has always secured his teachings. We must purge out this evil together, less we be swallowed back into dark times once more." -Ayvil Materia
I always love drawing Ayvil, she's one of my favorite characters who probably went through as many changes as did Thomza. So, what's this? Me finally doing background, experimenting with my brushes, all sorts of stuff. I really wanted to show that this is still like... "A War Game" type of setting where massive battles take place on all sides. Something I seriously want to do down the line is truly drawing the Town of Bayshore and really focus on the background and its inner workings. I wanted to show off the battles that can take place with Fruit Kobolds in the trenches and their brick-like AA magical and even massive guns fire off at incoming foes. We also got the space station in the background (that I always try and show off as it's always noted in lore when I write it... oh yeah, there's so much stuff I wrote? That ain't even really released.)
It's... Magical I suppose, but anyways? I'm pretty proud of this piece of artwork and decided I wasn't going to let it get thrown into another one of my collection pieces. So here I am, and I hope you all enjoy. Until we meet and talk again everyone! Thanks for reading and supporting my works, you are all? Truly wonderful!
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me. The Skin to Scales universe also belongs to me there... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system. There are also many satirical tones as well...
