The wings keep it up, these look fancy and make a lot of noise, and generally throw fuel and oil everywhere in a mad fit to get metal to spin. When they work... I'll always love the look of a P&W R-985. Unless I'm looking at a R-2400 :)

That Electra was my favorite plane, it was the epitome of the streamline art-deco era. I always love to remind people, "They run on controlled explosions!"
