They were thrown on stage, or at least, most of them. He has confided in me that sometimes things find their way into that mane! Leaves, petals, candy.. it makes sense!

Hah, I hadn't thought of that. It's about as difficult as throwing confetti.. which means that in this case sophisticated technology has probably been used. It makes sense to me. :P
