I decided early on that she'd be the daughter of an innkeeper as it seemed a great place for her to socialize and learn about the outside world; really pique her curiosity to go exploring. Life at the Fragrant Blossom inn isn't just sitting around, listening to stories all day, though. There's work to be done!

I drew this one to get a feel for the style of clothing she might wear. At first I was considering far more muted colours, but then I realised that just didn't fit the personality forming in my head. She likes bright! She likes colourful! And not just that. The Shade Grove kingdom prides itself on its happy, cheerful people. What better way to express that ^^
