My father-in-law told my ex when she was a little girl that, if you put salt on a bird's tail, you can catch it. That's where this would-be predator went wrong: he's got no pocket to hold his salt shaker.

I used to live across the way from that place (more or less). They weren't super great at keeping their patients from wandering off in those last years.
