My mom always gets mad at me for picking really obscure characters for my Halloween costumes. Nick's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang costume is almost identical to the one I made my first Halloween when I was about 4. Not surprisingly, I'm the only person I know who remembers.
If you didn't catch it, the guy next to Viniger is Nick's twin brother John, and he's dressed as the Nostalgia Critic (which is my costume this year). Yep, still choosing obscure costume ideas at 19!

haha, you were Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? That's so awesome....did you hook up with a guy dressed up as Mister Garison? That would have been the most perfect pairing ever, screw Mario and Luigi costumes XD And i agree with you, different is awesome. I was dressing up as Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas, long before the fiml because so disgustingly popular...now I can't dress up as her anymore x(
I saw one girl dressed as Sally when I went out, she looked quite authentic too.
Sadly, I didn't meet up with Mr. Garrison. In fact, I think that was long before South Park came out because I was in kindergarten at the time, I think. Plus, I wouldn't have gotten it, I didn't know those words.
