Description: Cypress was once a Unique plant that resembled a Piranha Plant from Mario, only she was yellow, silver, and green instead of the Piranha Plant's red and white. Due to this abnormal appearance, she was dug up and taken into a Research Lab to be tested. They learned that She had a strong level of sentience, able to feel pain when they tried to learn more about her. One Day, they had given up and were going to sedate her to safely transport her back to where they found her since she was a bit feisty. However, the scientist assigned to do the sedation had grabbed the wrong vial for the syringe unaware, one with the DNA of Zilla Jr, and injected it into her. By the time this was realized, it was too late. She could already feel the powerful radiation affecting her, her roots breaking the large pot as they grew outward rapidly, wrapping together and solidifying into two huge legs that resembled that of the Mutated Lizard.
The rest of her body expanded to match her legs as a powerful tail expanded outward, she could only wince in pain as the transformation happened, her head changing shape to vaguely resemble another plant-based Kaiju named Biollante. By the time the transformation had finished, the lab was mostly rubble and overgrown with foliage due to the sheer size growth she had undergone so rapidly along with an outburst of energy, Vine-maws on her shoulders now as she panted heavily from the pain as it slowly went away, she carefully stood up and examined herself, admiring her new body. She was admittedly a little terrified at this new situation she found herself in, and carefully made her way out of the area to find someone she could find to potentially help her, soon enough finding Mama Rodan, Zillian, and Clark teaching another ‘New-Born’ Kaiju by the name of Rusty.
One of her vine-maws gently tapped Mama Rodan’s shoulder to get her attention, startling her at first, until Cypress explained what had happened, and wondered if there was anything that she could do to help before Mama Rodan told her that she would be glad to help teach her to control her abilities. Cypress was confused at first until Mama Rodan had taken the time to explain to her that ‘New-Born’ Kaiju like her and Rusty, normal beings turned Kaiju by unexpected events, would require training so that they can learn to control their abilities to their full extent, so there wouldn’t be unwanted and accidental destruction. Cypress nodded in understanding as she listened, soon sitting down to watch as Rusty was trained until it was time for her to learn, watching as a human was picked up by Mama Rodan and handed over to Rusty before she was taken to a huge clearing away from the beach for her training.
Six Months had passed and she had more than completed her training, having been brought into the family by Mama Rodan and learning that the Human she saw that day was one of her sons, a human by the name of Joshua Direfang, someone always willing to help, and that there was another like him named FireFloof Flufffeather. In the meantime, however, she was asked to go meet a couple of Spinosaurus that were also new to the Family, Douglas, and Sarah, and she was pleased to meet them, even carefully using her Plant Breath to help them with the small garden they were planting. This act of kindness pleased the Spino couple and earned her their kindness as she nuzzled them gently.
