Today I have an uplifting story to bring you. The accomplishments of Spottacus (IRL Dr. David Benaron).
His team at Stanford laid the groundwork for the optical heart rate monitor. In plain English; he invented the wearable, continuous, heart rate monitor. All you Wahoo TICKR, Garmin HRM-Pro, Polar H10, and Fitbit Sense device users can give a big cheer now.

And if that was not enough. Spottacus invented an operating room camera that can track a fluorescent dye, administered as an injection. In English, Spottacus invented a way for surgeons to see what is going on inside the circulation system during an operation - IN REAL TIME.

But that is not all. Spotticus also made a 2019 Burning Man Art Project. You can see this at the link below.

These are only the most prominent achievements of Spotticus. I needed only research five minutes to find these. I am sure there are many more.

Probably my coolest invention was a operating room camera (pic A) that could track a fluorescent dye, administered as an injection, as it accumulated in the body (pic B), and see it in room light in tumors ("T" in pic C).
