Regthar Sivem, the alien ursid of the renzar species, along with his wife Sorah Grovem, suffered the death of their young son on their home planet of Grom. Devastated by the tragedy, they decided to emigrate to the planet Chakona to start a new life. There, by chance, they met the young human Esteban Melinao, who had come from Earth to do a postgraduate degree at Dewclaw University in engineering. The bond of friendship and love between the Renzar couple and the boy is so strong that they decide to adopt him as his son, and Regthar gave him his last name. Read the full story here.
