"Wait here, Sammy. I'm right back and then we can play!"
Placing his beloved plushie lynx companion on the couch, Sascha booted up the Switch console, turned on the big TV, placed a couple of big soft pillows and blanket on the floor, before collecting one of his favorite Starlink fighters and a pilot.
Of course it had to be the Arwing with his pilot Fox McCloud. What else?
After that, he padded into the kitchen to collect a couple of items his step mum had been preparing for him
Some sliced fruit to snack on and a large sippy cup full of a fruity, tasty tea to keep the little bearkitty hydrated.
It was a super lazy, warm Saturday and for extra comfort, Sascha was wearing nothing except a cute star-themed diaper and a soft bandana, which made him look extra adorable.
Balancing everything back into the living room, he saw that Sammy had already started the weekend fun.
Somewhere along the way the long-tailed lynx had lost his trademark black & purple scarf. He also put COmmander Fox into a timeout and had nabbed the Arwing starfighter for himself, happily playing with it while lying on the sofa.
"Oh Sammy!" Sascha giggled "You were supposed to wait for me! And why did put Fox in timeout?"
"Meow."
"What do you mean YOU are the Commander now?"
"Meow."
"Sammy, do you even know how to fly that thing?"
"Meow!"
"Oh..okay... " Smiling at his plushie companion, the little bear hybrid removed the Switch console from it's stand, switched off the TV and just flopped onto the floor.
He knew Sammy's biggest wish was to be able to fly... so he decided to let him keep the Arwing toy while he himself was playing the game, very clumsily, in handheld mode. Or pawheld more to be more exact.
That's what friends are for, right?
