"Sibö's place beast"
A megathere sloth from the Late Miocene of southern Costa Rica.
Very simple reconstruction of Sibotherium, technically being Costa Rica's national fossil.
Sibotherium was smaller than other megatheres, and it more than likely came from South America.
This picture features it's hypothetical size compared to the average height of a costa rican, a three-toed sloth and one of many Diquís Spheres.
This kind of was a challenge since I never drew a ground sloth in my life, and I had to rely on other species and the fragmentary remains of Sibotherium.
