It looks really good for doing it so fast! There is something that I noticed as well, I think that magenta color from the upper-right side of the painting is very bright, but maybe it was planned to do it like that. I think if it was obscured a little bit, the hands pushing the diagonal glass-like material could direct the attention more towards the character, I like the glowing red eye a lot in this drawing, and the angle you drew the character and the tail as well.
Thank you; I wanted it to appear as a glass cylinder or tube but I'm not sure if it worked very well in that sense, I think I would have required a planned composition to make that effect work properly.
The magenta light brightness was intentional; I wanted something that felt particularly vivid. I had meant to include a glare effect from the light on the glass but by the time I was done I'd kind of forgotten, and by then it was at the point that if I started adding anything else I would start spending too much extra time on it for what I had intended only as a fast piece.
