Look at Cyril and Ralph sinking putts like a couple of old friends. Ha!
I like to imagine that these two eventually came to tolerate each other well enough to spend time together. If you haven't seen the entire show as obsessively as I have, suffice it to say Cyril Sneer drops several tiers in villainhood until he's more or less not an antagonist at all. He's always been annoyed by Ralph in particular since he runs the Evergreen Standard, but that rivalry dwindled to next-to-none in the later episodes, when Cyril would even use the Standard for advertisements and even help the raccoons from time to time. Still, their mutual repulsion to each other in their early days probably remains in vestigial form as they take disagreement on opinions.

More then likely. Cyril is probably my most favourite "villain" ever for that very reason. I never really could see him as a villain to be honest. He was just a greedy and over ambitious businessman, really. Heck, in one of the first episodes the Raccoons throw him a birthday party already. And from the very beginning you can see how much of a devoted father he really is.
