Socially awkward get-well card

I think I drew this as part of a get-well card to send to somebody. What the fuck was I thinking? Is this supposed to make somebody feel better? Cat frightened by vicious fanged duck-ammonite in a prairie pond. I guess it was one of those "I can't think of anything to draw, so I'd better draw something now" moments. God, I hope I didn't send this to somebody with a serious disease, or a relative...I've already sent some strange, difficult-to-grasp art to my maiden aunts and they probably think I'm tetched.
