I got a good chuckle over this- Back in the 1970s, my sister's boy friend secretly planted a little marijuana patch on the hill behind our house. I didn't know it was there until he burst into my room one day and angrily demanded to know what I'd done with his pot plants. He thought I'd harvested them. He didn't believe me when I told them I hadn't, and if my sister hadn't come in and calmed him down, we probably would've gotten into a fist fight, he was that mad. Later, I went up the hill and examined his ravaged mini pot farm. The remaining plants looked like they were eaten, and I thought a rabbit had done it. Turned out it was a turtle, who was also raiding our next door neighbor's vegetable garden. I've always wondered if that turtle got stoned eating all that raw marijuana. I do know that turtles can get drunk eating windfall fermented grapes, so its more likely you'll find a wino turtle instead of a pothead one.
