Born to an Argentine father and a Spanish mother, Javier is a "man of the world" that has lived in Europe and South America, traveled to North Africa, and currently resides in the United States. Seeking a career in law enforcement, he became a police officer for the Chicago PD shortly after graduating university while living in Illinois. Excelling thanks to his rapport with locals in the city's Hispanic community, Javier rose through the ranks quickly. Over time, he found himself disillusioned by the department's infamous corruption. As the political establishment of the Windy City blew against him, Javier lost all faith in a system he could not change from within.
