The New Savior of Dreams, the New Slayer of Nightmares
"When the White Hare disappeared, the Nightmare came to Pegasus.
Many fell to dream death, cursed to endless, restless slumber.
Cayne and her ilk only wanted power, to control the Nightmare rather than save us from it.
All of Pegasus became a bad dream worse than the world we used it to escape from.
But one night, she appeared.
Arriving on the wind, bathed in the glow of the eternal full moon above, she descended on the Nightmare, the tip of her mighty spear aimed right between it's eyes!
One by one, Nightmares fell to her blade! The foolish ones drove themselves onto it! The clever ones ran back to the black forest from which they spawned!
The dusted monsters blew away in the wind, a heavenly scent of sweet flowers.
She was gone as quickly as she appeared, but even the aftermath of her presence was like being under the White Hare's eye once again.
If you see her, cry her name! Strike fear into the heart of fear personified! The Nightmare stands no chance against Jestal, the New Savior of Dreams!" - Annonymous, the 10th Sleep of Pegasus.
Jestal is admittedly a bit weirded out at being mythologized, but that won't stop her from ridding Pegasus of bad dreams.
