This is an eastern red squirrel. Small but fierce, they fight grey and fox squirrels much larger than themselves for the best foraging and nesting sites. Known to scream at things they don't like- which is an oft occurrence.

(These little bastards tell the entire forest your location, and throw things with exceptional accuracy. Bowhunting with these things around is a TASK.)
