Sorry its been like 2+ years since the last upload of this series! I f--ked up a formatting thing and lost editability in the source file, leaving me with low quality renders. Out of frustration I shelved the project until I calmed down... then forgot about it XD Enjoy~

Hi everyone! So I'm twelve weeks and two days into my surrogacy today with twins, which means I'm officially in the second trimester! I know my first trimester wasn't terribly interesting to read about since all I could really talk about was throwing up and being constantly tired XD I'm getting less nauseous as the weeks go by which is really good. I still get nauseous every once in a while but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. My appetite is getting better which is really nice, though it's still not completely all the way back to normal, but I can eat more than what I could eat six weeks ago. I've been getting some back pain every now and again to the point that I'll use a heating pad, but it's so rare that it's more an annoyance at this point. Same with random spurts of heartburn, bleh! I need to go maternity clothes shopping soon. Most of my skirts and pants that aren't elastic don't fit. Anything with a zipper or button I just can't do or it's super uncomfortable. I have ONE pair of jeans that I can partially zip and then use a hair tie in the front where it's supposed to button and wear a baggy shirt over it.
I'm in love with my OB doctor; she's really sweet and always thoroughly answers my questions. During my last ultrasound she said that they implanted in the exact same spot on the opposite sides of my uterus and after like ten minutes of maneuvering she was able to get a photo of them both so that the sacks formed a little heart! It was a little uncomfortable for me, but TOTALLY worth it to have such an adorable photo.
My stomach has been getting sore right above my bellybutton; the OB said it's my abdominal muscles starting to stretch and spread around my womb. So um... BUMP. I'm not exactly a big girl, but the babies don't seem to care about that, they have definitely made themselves known at this point. I can still hide it with baggy tops, but I probably just look a little bit fat to other people. My belly button is officially popped now; I can poke it back in but as soon as I move it comes back out. Also my belly is measuring at just over thirty five inches, maybe thirty five one/four.
So yeah... the first trimester for me can basically be summed up in three words; sick, tired and hormonal! Definitely looking forward to the second when baby things start to happen~
P.S.
Genders can't be confirmed until after eighteen weeks, but any guesses?
Comment with any questions you have and I'll answer some, though keep it PG ok?
