Dwarven Warriors of Athea

Early settlements into the Shiitake Hills have left the Dwarfs with little to use in ways of metal armor weapons. These early settlers had to rely on using leather armor and stone-based weapons.

With few options, the Dwarfs had to use...unusual hides for their tanning.

Giraffe Leather is rather spongy, but it's durable. While not ideal for armor, the Athea Warriors had no choice. Over the generations, Dwarfs have become quite proud of their unique armor set and now, the royal soldiers of the Dwarven Armor wear leather tunics and caps with pride.

It's no replacement for good metal plates, Dwarven soldiers who can't afford custom fits aren't quite out of luck. One should never underestimate the strength of the giraffe...
