I sit on a bench and hum a song.
Me: I hate that you' re leaving, I hate that I' m letting go...
Haida walks up to me.
Haida (anxiously): Herman, what's wrong? Has someone hurt you?
I shake my head in the negative.
Haida: Are you in some kind of pain?
I shake my head again.
Haida (sitting down next to me): Well, what then? You're kind of quiet.
Me: Heidi... I... I... (burying my face in his chest) Don't go, please... I'm going to cry, really hard.
Haida: I'd love to, but the votes are so spread out. (seeing that I'm ready to cry) It wasn't your fault, it was obvious.
Me: Then I'll leave with you. I can't be here without you... Please take me with you.
Haida: Herman, please listen to what I'm about to tell you. Of course I can take you with me, but what about the others? Lin-Hu, Shiro, Lucario? Have you thought about them?
Me (looking at the hyena with challenge): Why on earth would I think of them? (seeing him frown) I'm sorry, I didn't think about what I said.
Haida: Hera, you're a big boy, so I hope you make the right decision. I'll say it again: I can take you with me, but don't you think the others will be upset?
Me: They' re going to be upset?
Haida: Yes. They will think they have offended you, and since you will leave without telling them the reason, they will think, and rightly so, that you have offended because of me.
Me: Well... it's not like that...
Haida: And how will they understand that? (seeing that I have become ashamed) You see, you want to leave, but you forget that you might hurt others. Especially Mr. Blizzard. He'll be upset too, he'll think you don't like it here.
Me (interrupting): No, no, I don't want to hurt them. You're right, I should let you go. But... how are we going to communicate? You won't be able to call me.
Haida: That's where you're wrong. There's a phone in your watch.
Me: But you don't have one.
Haida gives me her hand and I see the same watch on it.
Me: How did...
Haida: Fox gave me his, he said Wolf would buy him a new one. So we can call each other.
Me (throwing myself into my friend's arms): What a blessing! I'll be able to communicate with you, knowing that you'll always answer me. (feeling him start to grow) Wow, you're really big... I'm a dwarf compared to you.
Haida: Well, that's not true.
Me: Look, I want to give you something. (I snap my fingers and a locket and two rings appear in front of my hyena.)
Haida: Wow, that's pretty... Is that for me?
Me: For you. The locket and ring with your head is for me, and this gold ring is for your girlfriend.
Haida: Oh, thank you, as big as my heart. I decided to thank you too.
Me: In what way?
The other five friends approach us.
Haida: We all decided to take a picture with you.
Me: Thank you. But, Heidi, what about...
Heidi: The title of King? I don't need it. I got everything I wanted: new muscles, new height, family, I mean all of you.
Me: Really...
Shirou: Yes. We're not here for the grand prize, we're here for the fellowship, to make new connections, to make friendships.
Lin: That's more valuable than any title.
Me: Jesus, I was stupid... I thought you'd all be disappointed not to make it to the final competition. But now I understand, it's not winning that's important to you, it's participating.
All 6: Exactly.
Haida: So come on, quick, let's go take a picture.
We take six pictures with each one individually and one together. Soon the portal opens.
Haida: Well, I'm off. Good luck everyone. (hugging me) Don't be sad. I'll be waiting for you at our common home. This is another one of my gifts to you. (kisses and leaves, holding the locket and rings in his paw.)
I (seeing that the portal has closed): Goodbye, Heidi. Thank you for teaching me how to be... um... be myself.

I'm kinda concern that the ones who are sending home are getting more bigger than the current participants, it's like "what's the point of competing if the loser gets bigger than us before he goes back to home?" I mean, it's great to do a big send off on those who were too small to keep up with the rest and made it far anyways (Like Gaomon, Klonoa and Seth) but then again, the ones who are competing including Haida they're big that it seems pointless to do that.
That's the only flaw that I'm seeing for now.
