Fender is Creme's childhood friend and fellow Assassin, though he (formerly) ran with the Wraiths' friendly rival Clan, the Songbirds. Like the rest of the Songbirds he bears the Killer High Note, a singing voice able to bend frequencies of nearly any kind.

He joins the Teambase after his investigation into the years-long disappearance of his friend Creme coincides with a hit on her by the Songbirds. The KHN allows him to make it past both Barb and Pen Burton's protective shielding (almost completely accidentally while trying to protect Saya and Tana Masamune) which impresses Pen Burton enough to induct him in on the spot.



Fender loves theater and singing even if he's almost always silent due to a need to protect his voicebox. He also functions as the straight man to every group he's in by virtue of being the most "normal" of the entire organization, although he's often ignored or ironically spoken over in his few attempts at speaking. He is most close with Creme by virtue of being her childhood friend, but is also quite a good friend to the Masamunes (Sammy, Agnes, Tomas) due to saving Saya and Tana.
