Amanda Portrait in Pencil (Realistic) 🐕🦺
Like the title says, this was my first attempt at drawing a realistic portrait of my ESA dog Amanda - I decided to focus on just her face to begin with, to not overwhelm myself, and overall I think it came out very nicely. I watched some tutorials and experimented which helped, what do you think? I've always wanted to master more traditional mediums, especially pencil, and I wanted to practice this as an example for my newly offered Realistic Pet Portrait commissions (currently +$10 in addition to the base price!) Now that my art class is over I want to stay as self motivated as possible~ <3
Approx. 2 hours, 30 min. H, 2B, 4B, 9B pencils, tip of an empty mechanical pencil (for indentation marks), drawing and stick erasers, sketch paper.
