Me, going into this with mild trepidation because of the blurb and tags: “I’m not sure about this”
The story: *Actually a whole ass comic book looking ass narrative with action, humor, and just SOME of the heavy angst I was expecting at first, but in more healthy doses*
Me: “holy fucking shit I came looking for copper and I found platinum”

A word of speculation as well:
I’m willing to bet, despite how bad Scott was, perhaps there’s some truth to those conspiracies he followed. I mean, I can’t imagine an organization literally called WASP has zero skeletons in its closet lol
Not to mention it would make for a good plot line with Maxwell being a good dude, so he could like
Try to fight the corruption from the inside while other shit happens
Also, speaking of Scott, all of that shit that got all over him, that “moves by itself sometimes or maybe not”
That and the thing that was dropped off the airship entirely both strike me as stronger sequel bait than even the introduction of Herman at the last second. All in all this seems like the start of some amazing comic book worthy shenanigans
