Gothic Architeture (Art History Essay)
Authors Note - I apologize for the lack of indentation, I'm unsure why it keeps uploading this way. This essay was written for my college History of Art I course, uploaded in its integral original format. Our professor gave us three photos of an architectural structure in Central Europe, asking us to describe the style displayed; he also wanted us to compare and contrast its functions with the The Treasury of Atreus or Colosseum (I chose both), justifying our reasoning. There was another option that was more art related, but I felt the second option was more well constructed, and wanting to get out of my comfort zone I chose that. Note - Although he left the cathedral unnamed, I discovered that it was Saint Barbera's Church in Kutná Hora (a UNESCO world heritage site!)
