This is the older brother of Nozumo "Kakyu" Usagi and is a former samurai who gave up most of his equipment and ideas of following a lord to find a way to find his little brother, which required the sacrifice of most of his equipment, especially his old bow. Though with the help of a old woman he finds in the mountains, she helps them travel to where he is and be able to reunite with them. He's not used to the modern life or speaking English yet, though he's happy to be with family again after years of waiting.
